Ok this trip was very entertaining. I do consider voodoo to be a part of New Orleans history which to me automatically makes it interesting. The man just seemed too odd. For example, when Dr. Hunt asked about the secretive church, he went all skull and bones. Its those types of responses that make the whole concept of voodoo and everything it entails creepy. His relationship with those snakes also seems to be a tad bit strange, but if it is in the name of his religion I suppose it can be legitimized. Oh and his business card was the best part of the entire field trip.

I'm glad I went, it exposed me to some stuff I've never seen before. The voodoo priest had some strange beliefs, but he didn't act as weird as I thought he would. He seemed pretty calm and open to explaining things (to a certain point). I think its pretty cool he keeps snakes in his room.

I liked seeing all of the things inside the museum. There were some really interesting artifacts that were really great to see. Unfortunately, I understood very little of what the guide said because he was speaking so fast and he was very vague about everything. He really creeped me out, and I was really bothered by his statement regarding his snake and sexual activities. Overall, I thought it was a really fun trip and I think voodoo is pretty cool.
